Thank you for shopping with Books by Temi. We are committed to ensuring that your books reach you safely and efficiently, whether you are ordering within Nigeria or internationally.

This policy explains our delivery destinations, shipping charges, estimated delivery times, store pickup arrangements and responsibilities relating to shipment.

1. Order Processing

Orders are processed after successful payment confirmation. We aim to prepare and dispatch orders as promptly as possible. Processing times may vary depending on stock availability, weekends, public holidays and order volume.

Once your order has been confirmed and dispatched, delivery will be handled by our designated logistics partners.

2. Shipping Within Nigeria

Books by Temi fulfills Nigerian orders from Abuja and provides delivery to all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Abuja Deliveries

Delivery fees within Abuja vary depending on your delivery zone and package size. The applicable shipping charge will be calculated and displayed during checkout before payment.

Estimated delivery time: 1–3 working days, excluding any separately communicated processing period.

Deliveries Outside Abuja

For delivery to other Nigerian states:

• Standard delivery fee: ₦7,000

• Applicable weight: 0–2 kg per package

• Estimated delivery time: 3–7 working days

For orders exceeding 2 kg, including larger bulk purchases, additional shipping charges may apply. Where necessary, we will confirm the applicable charge before dispatch.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by the courier, weather, public holidays, accessibility or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

3. International Shipping

We fulfill international physical book orders from the United Kingdom. Our current international delivery destinations include:

• United Kingdom

• United States of America

• Canada

• Supported European countries

International Book Pricing and Delivery Fees

Each physical book purchased under our international pricing arrangement costs £20 per copy.

Standard international shipping is included in this price. Customers in supported international destinations will not be charged an additional standard shipping fee at checkout.

For example, an order of two books costs £40, inclusive of standard shipping, before any applicable customs charges or taxes not included in the checkout total.

Where payment is made in another currency, the equivalent amount may vary based on the exchange rate applied by the payment provider. Our base international selling price remains £20 per book.

International Delivery Times

International delivery estimates depend on the destination country, courier availability and customs processing.

Any available delivery estimate will be communicated during checkout or following order confirmation. We cannot guarantee a fixed delivery date for international shipments.

4. Customs Duties and Import Taxes

International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other government charges imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are not included in the £20 book price and are the customer’s responsibility. Such charges are separate from the standard shipping fee already included in the book price.

5. Store Pickup

Customers within Abuja may arrange to collect their orders from our store at:

Store pickup is available at no additional charge. Pickup must be arranged after order confirmation. Customers should wait for confirmation that their order is ready before visiting the store.

6. Delivery Address and Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, telephone number and other required shipping details.

If you notice an error in your delivery information, please contact us immediately. We will make reasonable efforts to correct the details before dispatch. However, changes may not be possible once a shipment has been handed over to a logistics provider.

Additional delivery costs arising from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by a customer may be charged to that customer where permitted by law.

7. Delayed, Lost or Undelivered Orders

Although we work to ensure reliable delivery, unexpected delays may occur. If your order has not arrived within the communicated delivery period, please contact us with your order number.

We will investigate the issue with the relevant logistics provider and provide an update. Where an order is confirmed lost or cannot be fulfilled, we will offer an appropriate replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

8. Damaged Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Include your order number, a description of the problem and photographs of the book and packaging where available.

We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate resolution in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.

9. Bulk and Special Orders

For large orders, schools, organisations, book clubs and events, shipping costs and delivery timelines may differ from standard orders.

Please contact us before placing a bulk order to discuss the number of copies required, delivery destination and expected delivery date.

10. Digital Product Delivery

E-books do not require physical shipping.

All digital books purchased through Books by Temi are delivered electronically through the customer’s account portal. Following successful payment confirmation, customers can log in to their account to access and read their purchased materials.

No physical delivery or shipping fees apply to e-book purchases. If a purchased e-book does not appear in the customer portal after successful payment, customers should contact Books by Temi for assistance.
